マリンバによる何層も重ねたループは輪廻転生をイメージし、後半のコーラスは生まれ変わり直前の苦しみを表す。

インスタレーション: 藤野尋子 光は物質ではないので音に溶けやすい。視覚と音のループが溶け合うと体感するリズムが生まれる。

Various Marimba sound appearing on the loop create metempsychosis. The chorus at the ending represents the suffering of just before death.

Installation: hiroko fujino 

Light does not have substance, It melts into sound.When the loop of visual loops and sound are fused into one, felt rhythm is produced.

これらは割れてしまったマリンバの音盤で、見た目には分かりませんが、楽器上で鳴らすとノイズがします。マリンバ奏者として、楽器から取り外される度、私はいたたまれない気持ちになります。

私たちの日常に戻し、「音」としてとらえると、いまだ美しい音色を持っているからです。

 

They are Marimba's keyboard but out of use any more due to noise. As a marimba player, every time they are replaced with new keyboards, I wonder why they are called "broken" because they have still SOUND.
